Volunteers Welcome!
Give back to your community by becoming an essential part of the success of one of the region’s leading professional Equity theaters—join Cape May Stage’s volunteer team!
There are many different ways to help support the work that Cape May Stage is doing as a volunteer. If you are interested in working with us, we welcome you to select the option that best fits you. And as a volunteer, you will be able to enjoy the benefits of complimentary tickets to see many of our shows, invitations to attend volunteer receptions, and being part of the Cape May Stage family.
Ushering
Our usher’s donate their time at our performances to make sure that our patrons have a positive experience as soon as they step inside the theater. By greeting patrons, guiding them to their seats, distributing programs, and assisting with any questions or special needs, our ushers are a critical part of the Cape May Stage team. As an usher, you will be scheduled to work one or more of performances each season.
Poster Distribution
We are looking for people to join our poster distribution team. If you know your way around Cape May and enjoy interacting with local businesses, we’d love to add you to our corps of volunteers who make sure that our show posters are visible in and around Cape May.

Gardening
Do you have a green thumb? Can you pull weeds? If so, Cape May Stage needs your help watering and maintaining the grounds at our theater. You will be involved in spring planting and ongoing maintenance of our flowers and plants to help ensure that the Cape May Stage shines bright all season long.
