Movie Night at Cape May Stage is a community “Film-Raiser” series to benefit a local non-profit. Join us for a variety of fun, family-friendly flicks at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse.

Once in a Hundred Years: The Life and Legacy of Marian Anderson is a powerful documentary celebrating the extraordinary life of Marian Anderson, whose historic 1939 concert at the Lincoln Memorial became a defining moment in the struggle for civil rights. The film traces her groundbreaking career and enduring influence, while also honoring her deep connection to Cape May, where she spent summers and found respite from the pressures of national fame.

 

This is a free movie event at Cape May Stage on Saturday, April 4, at 2 pm. Donations will be collected for the Cape May Community Food Closet.

 

Doors open at 1:30 pm. Seats are first-come, first-served.
