Kellen Blair (Book & Lyrics)is a Drama Desk–nominated writer and lyricist and the co-creator of Murder for Two, which premiered at Chicago Shakespeare Theater before moving Off-Broadway to Second Stage and New World Stages. The show has since enjoyed numerous regional, national, and international productions, becoming a worldwide hit. Blair and collaborator Joe Kinosian are recipients of the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best New Musical Work and the ASCAP Foundation Mary Rodgers / Lorenz Hart Award. Their work has been presented at major venues including the Kennedy Center and theaters across the country. Blair is also the lyricist of Scrooge in Love, for which he received the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Best Score.
Joe Kinosian (Book & Music) is an award-winning composer, performer, and co-creator of Murder for Two, recognized with Chicago’s Joseph Jefferson Award for Best New Musical and nominated for Best Actor for his performance as The Suspects. Following its record-breaking Chicago premiere, the show enjoyed a successful Off-Broadway run and has since been produced internationally. Kinosian and Blair have been honored with the ASCAP Foundation Mary Rodgers / Lorenz Hart Award and have developed work showcased at the Kennedy Center and major New York theaters. In addition to writing, Kinosian has appeared in numerous stage productions, bringing his signature musical and comedic talent to audiences nationwide.
