A new holiday play that combines magic, humor, hope and the Christmas spirit.
This heartwarming dramatic comedy takes place on Christmas Eve. When a young woman new to the neighborhood attempts to return a misdelivered package, she meets her elderly neighbor for the first time. What begins as a simple favor turns into an unexpected adventure as she discovers his one holiday wish: to catch Santa Claus. This heart-warming play brings two lonely souls together, to find family in each other, truth within themselves and the fun, child-like belief in the timeless magic of Santa, Christmas and the holiday season!

The holidays bring light to the darkness and hope when it is needed most. We learn in this play that Santa brings what people “need” most – more than any material thing. We watch families reunited and learn that Santa may represent hope in a world that needs that now more than ever. Oh, and there’s laughter too….

Beau Allen* (William) is thrilled to return to Cape May Stage. It doesn’t seem possible that 6 years have slipped by since he played Alexis Priest here, in Heisenberg. In between he appeared as Abner Dillon in 42nd Street at THEATRE BY THE SEA, RI and Tommy Grace in a musical in progress Fifth Avenue at Don’t tell Mama in NYC. Beau has appeared on Broadway in The Best Little Whore House In Texas, Jesus Christ Superstar and Two Gentlemen of Verona. Favorite Roles include Applegate in Damn Yankees, the narrator in Blood Brothers, Fred Graham in Kiss me Kate, Daddy Warbucks in Annie, and King Arthur in Camelot. Beau had a wonderful day on set with Meryl Streep as Dr. Talcamount in Don’t Look Up though his 2 lines were cut and a bar scene with John Lithgow on Daddy’s Home 2, although the scene was deleted. Last year he had one line in Summerhouse with Malcolm McDowell. Keep you fingers crossed..
